Our story
Born in 2016, DON8 (DONATE) APPAREL has been an ongoing passion for this team in our desire to inspire while giving back and making a difference.
How It All Started
DON8 (DONATE) APPAREL isn't just a lifestyle brand. DON8 APPAREL is a call to action. DON8 APPAREL is on a mission to better the world for everyone in it.

The Beginning of DON8
It all started with a faith based conversation centered around how we could do more. How we could give more. Volunteer more. Donate more. The more we talked the more we centered around the word donate. To donate time. To donate awareness. To donate money. And, most importantly, how to inspire others to do the same. We grabbed a pen and a bar napkin (which we still have) and the DON8 Apparel brand was brought to life.

Who would we give to....
We still have this paper. This piece of paper represents our initial thoughts on who we would want to align with and DON8 to. Our goal was to focus on charities that have impacted us, our family, our friends & our community. We had no idea how we would make it happen or how we would associate the DON8 brand with these charities however we did know we wanted to align with charities that spend at least 75% of their donations on programs served. We are committed to not only evaluating our chosen charities annually, but also to posting the amounts of our DON8ions and what charities we DON8ed to semi-annually.
Significance of DON8 PINK
The logo that started it all...
The fight against breast cancer is a personal one to us. My mother, Penny, was diagnosed with with breast cancer on 10/31/2016. Her diagnosis rocked our family to its core. My mom was always the figure of strength for our family. Watching her suffer through chemo and radiation scared us all because we had never seen her so weak. If it weren't for an early diagnosis from her annual mammogram she may have not survived. We knew then we had to do something to help.
On March, 12, 2020 my younger sister Shelby was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 35. I will never forget the day I received that call. The world had just shut down due to the pandemic and we had no idea what we were going to do. All at once we were battling COVID-19 and breast cancer. I had never prayed so hard as I did that night. Miraculously, Shelby never contracted the virus despite her immune system being so compromised from chemo. My sister was a fighter in every sense. Unfortunately, on November 2, 2021 my sister lost her battle with cancer at age 37. She left behind a husband, 3 young daughters, and a granddaughter she was never able to meet. Please DON8 PINK and help us all fight!
